Photo of the Day
What started as a quiet day of cobblestones and culture turned into a front-row seat to a Slavik fly-by.
Italy may be known for pasta, but on this day it served up gnar al dente, just how we like it.

Video of the Day
Utopia 2 is a love letter to freeride.
Raw, real, and filmed just 20km from home but miles from the ordinary.
It’s what happens when you chase lines with your crew and let the terrain write the script.
Some search for trails, others build them.
This one’s for the second kind, the riders who see a blank patch of forest and turn it into something rideable.

Bonus: Who needs flow trails when you’ve got sand dunes and a can-do attitude?

OneUp launches the Wave pedal: A new take on flat pedal grip

Alright, we’ve got some fresh tech news for you guys.
If you’ve been struggling with finding that sweet spot between grip and comfort on flat pedals, OneUp’s Wave pedal might just be the answer.
It’s not your typical flat pedal. It’s a little more… wavy.
Which promises to give riders the support they need without relying on a thousand sharp spikes digging into their feet.
The idea is simple: taller at the front to hug the ball of your foot, and sloping lower at the back to keep those heels down and engaged.
It’s a design that lets the pedal do more of the work, giving you a smoother ride without the usual pin-related foot wrestles.

Pin-less Aggression
Gone are the days of worrying about pin spikes that feel like mini daggers.
The Wave pedal uses its shape to lock in your foot, with a concave front half and a sloped back that naturally promotes a more controlled riding position.
The pins are also angled forward by 10 degrees, so when you put your weight down, they’re perfectly aligned for traction without needing to be razor-sharp.
Specs You’ll Actually Care About
Weighing in at 355g for the pair, the Wave pedals are 107mm wide and 110mm long, offering plenty of room for foot movement without feeling too cramped.
Built from strong 6061 aluminum, they can take a beating on the roughest trails while still being easy to maintain.
Plus, they’re equipped with 10 self-cleaning, hollow M4 hex pins per side, so they’ll keep their grip no matter how muddy you get.

Built, Tested, and Shredded
Apparently, OneUp didn’t just dream up the Wave pedal in a lab and call it a day.
These pedals went through four years of development, eight iterations, and countless hours of testing from riders across all disciplines (enduro, trail, downhill) before they were ready for release.
And since they’re designed for easy home maintenance, you won’t have to dread the day when they need a little TLC.
Will the Wave pedal change the flat pedal game?
We’re not sure yet, but if you’re looking for a pedal that offers better foot support without going overboard on the pins, it might be just what you need.
Sometimes, it’s not about the sharpest pins, but about letting the pedal do its job and the Wave is definitely here to do just that.

Trail of the Day
Ragin Cajun - Franklinton, Louisiana

The Ragin Cajun is a downhill-only, tight and technical trail that’ll make you wish you had extra suspension.
It’s still a work in progress, but don’t worry. It’s already good to go for those who like a little bit of chaos with their ride!
