Video of the Day

Somewhere between the mountain mist and a sketchy climb, this video hits like a sucker punch to the modern world.

Just gears grinding and trees whispering: stay a while.

Watching this makes our brains shift into trail mode.

Bonus: Asa kicked the door down at Hardline, flipped off the blueprint, and rewrote the ending.

Bonus points for looking like he still gets ID’d buying energy drinks.

Every Custom Detail on Jackson’s $20K V10

Jackson keeps his eyes looking ahead in the Crankworx Innbruck downhill race, the classic technique of the fastest descenders in the world.
PC: Clint Trahan

‍

Let’s get one thing straight: most of us would need a small loan, or a kidney sale on the black market, to touch a bike worth $20,000.

But for Jackson Goldstone?

It’s just another day at the office.

At only 21, Jackson’s already earned his spot among downhill royalty, and his Santa Cruz V10 is basically the two-wheeled Excalibur that’s helping him slay the rest of the field.

Mullet wheels, titanium bolts, a “don’t sit down” seat angle, and suspension that costs more than your car’s engine, this thing is less bike and more carbon-fiber witchcraft.

‍

From Grom to Grim Reaper

PC: WBD Sports / WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series

‍

We first met Jackson back in 2022, when he was still stacking Junior wins and making Elite racers feel bad about their life choices.

Even then, he was putting down times that outpaced the best in the world, on courses that were chewed up, dried out, and sketchier than your buddy who says he’ll “catch you later” on a group ride.

Whether it was rain, dust, or a bike setup dialed so tightly NASA could’ve launched it, Jackson found speed where others found carnage.

And while most 18-year-olds were figuring out how to parallel park, Jackson was out-whipping grown men at Crankworx and stealing the whip crown like it was lunch money.

2025: The Year of the Boost Bro

‍

Fast forward to 2025 and he’s not just in the big leagues, he’s putting them on notice.

And that message? Boost Bro’s here to stay.

Build Sheet From Another Planet

‍

f the world’s fastest downhill racers, Jackson—shown here in the Innsbruck Crankworx event—is also one of the most stylish.
PC: Boris Beyer

‍

So yeah, maybe Jackson’s bike is worth twenty grand.

But if you ask us, the real value is watching him ride the thing like it’s been possessed by a Red Bull-fueled demon with a love for airtime.

And with a name like Goldstone, was there ever any other outcome?

Trail of the Day

Braille DH Mountain Biking Trail - Santa Cruz, California

‍

If you thought this trail got its name from the scenery, think again.

Braille is for when you’re riding more by feel than sight.

Steep scalloped root lines? Check.

Log drops with spicy landings? Double check.

It’s basically a forested funhouse where the exit sign is just another feature.

You’ll earn every bruise, every laugh, and possibly a new appreciation for your health insurance.

‍

‍

‍

That’s all for today folks. We hope everyone gets some saddle time out there. See you all tomorrow! 🤙

‍For the ❤️ of two wheels.
