Taking it back to 2010 when Kurt Sorge made the desert look like a BMX park in Where The Trail Ends.
We went back into the archives and dug up the film segment of Kurt dirt surfing in China.
Some straight up internet gold right here. Check it out!

Kacper Mietka’s winter session is proof that the trails don’t need to be perfect.
They just need to be ridden with the right level of skill in the snow.
He’s laying down lines that could make a snowplow jealous proving that there are no off-seasons when it comes to biking.

Bonus: Ready to get hyped?
Women’s freeride went from a few brave souls sending it at Rampage to full-on senders taking over the scene and Aurélie Tournier’s documentary is here to show you the whole epic saga.
From 2012's SendHER comp to 2024’s women’s Rampage debut, it’s a story of grit, determination, and some seriously wild sends.
Talk about raising the bar, one line at a time!

Darkfest 2025: Course Breakdown + First Hits

The Darkfest 2025 course is open from top to bottom, and the first hits are in.
Let’s just say they're bigger than the swings you’re seeing in your stock portfolio this week.
Thanks to the Insta360 course preview, we’ve got eyes on the full line through the lens of Sam Reynolds, Sam Hodgson, Kaos Seagrave, and Dylan Lamb.
Now in its ninth year, Darkfest is once again home to the world’s biggest jumps on one of the world’s longest freeride lines.
The Trails Crew dialed things in with a fresh rebuild and added features like a quarter pipe into shark fins, because apparently the old death-defying jumps weren’t spicy enough.
Course Overview: Just Add Insanity
This year’s build brings back all the hits: the 110-foot booter and the ever-iconic step-up that continues to roast suspension setups worldwide.
New for 2025? A quarter pipe into shark fins that looks like a line built by someone halfway through a Red Bull-fueled fever dream (and we mean that as the highest compliment).
The rocket launchers are back, speeds are pushing 80kph, and the airtime is so long you could probably file a flight plan.
Watch the final build and first hits on Sam Reynolds' YouTube.
In case you missed it, here’s the full rider list:
Sam Reynolds, Clemens Kaudela, Matt Macduff, Vero Sandler, Vaea Verbeeck, Bienve Aguado, Graham 'Aggy' Agassiz, Ike Klaassen, Theo Erlangsen, Adolf Silva, Kade Edwards, Nicholi Rogatkin, Paul Couderc, Matt Jones, Sam Hodgson, Vinny Armstrong, Kaos Seagrave, Robin Goomes, Daniel Ruso, Lucy Vaneesteren, Alessio Tonoli, Tomas Lemoine, Elias Ruso, Johny Salido, Brendan Fairclough, Cami Nogueira, Lukas Schäfer, Kurtis Downs, Dylan Stark, Chelsea Kimball, Kaidan Ingersoll, Dan Paley, Talus Turk, Finley Kirschenman, Vincent Tupin, Louis Reboul, and Dylan Lamb.
Social Roundup: First Hits Are In
@samreynolds - Leads the charge with a silky smooth top-to-bottom. Sam makes the gnarliest line in freeride look like a pump track.
@kaos.seagrave – Style for days, chaos by name, precision by nature.
@dylan_lamb_ – Expect carnage - in a good way.
@clemenskaudela – C-dog throwing hammers already. First hit? Nailed. Second hit? Bigger. Third? We don’t know yet, but we’re scared.
@darkfestmtb – The official page is loaded with slow-mo bangers, sketchy moments, and enough stoke to power a small city.
Rumor has it the riders are cooking up something extra spicy later this week.
Until then, smash play on that course preview and stay tuned.
We’ll be dropping the gnarliest bangers as they land.
Dream Rides ❤️

The Jason McRoy FSR homage bike is the kind of rig that makes us want to ride like legends, even if we can sometimes barely clear a curb.
But with history in every pedal stroke, who’s really keeping track?
Got a bike that makes your friends drool? We wanna see it! Shoot us an email at editorial@thesenditdaily.com, and maybe your ride will be the next superstar.

Trail of the Day
Credit Line - Squamish, British Columbia

One of the Squamish classics.
Starts off all friendly with a bit of XC to warm up the legs, just enough to make you question your gearing choices.
Then it drops into a descent so good it feels illegal.
Flow, tech, speed... it’s all there.
This one earns its stripes every single time.

Laugh of the Day
“I can ride it out” 😂
That’s all for today folks. We hope everyone gets some saddle time out there. See you all tomorrow! 🤙
