Photo of the Day

Tide asked Kade Edwards to test it’s new laundry detergent.

Are Kade’s pants machine washable after a few laps down a muddy Hardline course in Wales?

Verdict: The pants are gone. The mud won.

Video of the Day

Aggy and Vanderham take on the Rockies like they were born to shred them.

This Dakine 2025 edit is 90% breathtaking landscapes and 10% “hold my beer” moments.

The duo makes steep chutes and rugged ridgelines look like a Sunday stroll.

If you thought the Rockies were just for hiking, think again.

This is MTB paradise, and these two just called dibs.

Bonus:  The off-season grind is real. Equal parts digging deep and praying the weather holds out.

This video is peak preseason chaos, but hey, it’s not all bad.

There’s at least one sunset shot for the ‘gram.

Rain, Ruts & Ridiculous Speed: Pietra Ligure Brings the Pain to Open the 2025 Enduro World Cup

PC: Dave Trumpore

Welcome back, mud lovers.

The Enduro World Cup is officially in session, and Pietra Ligure came out swinging.

Nestled on the Italian Riviera, this picturesque little mountain town is known for tight switchbacks, grippy gold dirt (when dry), and trails that demand your respect.

But this weekend? It was less "sunshine and espresso," more "rain-soaked chaos with a side of arm pump."

Riders were tossed into a two-day battle royale featuring seven stages and nearly 100km of terrain.

With weather flipping the script and trail conditions going from tacky to terrifying, it wasn’t just the clock riders were racing. It was survival.

And now? Let’s talk winners, wipeouts, and one absolutely ridiculous final stage.

Let’s Break It Down Like a Carbon Frame in TSA

Two days. Seven timed stages. One soaking wet World Cup opener.

Junior Men: Melvin Almighty

Melvin Almueis came in hot and didn’t cool off. Even when the heavens opened mid-race.

After winning stage one, he basically squatted on the top step of the podium and refused to leave.

Cooper Millwood kept things spicy, closing the gap to just 14 seconds, but couldn’t reel in the smooth operator.

Matteo Falcini kept it molto italiano and snagged third, the only other rider within a minute of the Melv-meister.

🥇 Melvin Almueis — 44:53.809
🥈 Cooper Millwood — +14.718
🥉 Matteo Falcini — +49.950

Junior Women: Metge Be Mowing

Lucile Metge showed up with legs of steel and the calm confidence of someone who’s memorized every root in Europe.

A tight duel with Elise Porta kept things interesting until Porta DNFed, handing Metge the keys to the kingdom.

Lacey Adams and Chloe Bear rounded out the podium, flying the Yeti flag with honor (and probably mud-covered grins).

🥇 Lucile Metge — 52:16.704
🥈 Lacey Adams — +1:56.345
🥉 Chloe Bear — +2:05.338
🚫 Elise Porta — DNF (ouch.)

Elite Women: Hattie the Hammer

She may be pivoting to Downhill this season, but Hattie Harnden just reminded everyone that Enduro is still her playground.

Five stage wins, one belt-driven gearbox bike, and a full send later, she walked away with gold and some serious bragging rights.

Ella Conolly made her work for it, staying close all weekend, and Morgane Charre proved she's still got podium pace.

🥇 Hattie Harnden — 48:02.801
🥈 Ella Conolly — +24.376
🥉 Morgane Charre — +51.558

Elite Men: Booker Bags It

This one went down to the literal wire.

After 43 minutes of racing, Dan Booker beat Slawomir Lukasik by 0.374 seconds—basically the time it takes to blink or realize you’ve forgotten your goggles.

World Champ Alex Rudeau was in the mix too, but it was Booker who booked the win in Pietra. (Yes, we went there.)

🥇 Dan Booker — 43:00.767
🥈 Slawomir Lukasik — +0.374
🥉 Alex Rudeau — +4.719

What's Next?

After two days and about 100km of racing, the 2025 Enduro World Cup is off to a ridiculous start.

Drama? Check. Rain? Of course. Racing? Some of the best we’ve seen.

Keep those tires pumped and your snacks prepped. This season’s only getting started.

Trail of the Day

Blue Velvet Upper, Whistler Mountain Bike park

PC: gottagobiking

Blue Velvet might be the "easy" way down from Garbo, but it's still got enough steep, loose, and chunky sections to ruin a dentist's day.

If you're not comfortable at speed or allergic to brake bumps, maybe take a lap elsewhere.

That said, the wide trail, flowy berms, and cheeky little jumps make it a blast if you’ve got your act together.

Bonus: it finishes with a massive wooden berm that feels like riding a rollercoaster built by lumberjacks.

Laugh of the Day

Every great DH story like this one starts with, ‘So, I was going to hit this section and…’
