Video of the Day

At just a few years old, Fin and Ren have already figured out how to make us feel like we’ve wasted all our mountain biking potential.

One’s all about downhill, the other lives for launching jumps - but neither of them needs training wheels to get it right.

These tiny shredders have been riding since they were three, and we’re here for it!

Bonus: Who knew flat ground could produce a world-class bike park?

San Diego’s bike park scene just leveled up.

Forget wood ramps and boring designs - Bradley Bike Park is a dirt-carved masterpiece!

Deven Schneider’s obsession with tractors turned into a groundbreaking park that’s as smooth as it is innovative.

Send of the Day

Why take baby steps when you can just send it. 💨

iXS European Downhill Cup #2 Fort William 2025

Hold onto your handlebars because the iXS European Downhill Cup has finally returned to the legendary Fort William course, and it’s everything we remembered.

Plus a whole lot of wetness and a dash of Scottish chaos.

Seeding Results

The seeding run today was an absolute nightmare for riders, a battle of survival against a track that looked like it was designed by a sadistic mountain and wet conditions that were basically Mother Nature saying, “You thought you were tough? Welcome to Fort William.”

Friday gave us some sweet dry conditions to start, but by Saturday, the Scottish weather flipped the script.

Enter the rain, the mud, and the wind that would make a kite look like a flight risk.

The riders had to dig deep, get gritty, and adapt quicker than your Wi-Fi dropping out mid-meeting.

This was just the warm-up for tomorrow’s final. Strap in, folks.

Friday was dry, but very windy.

Over 250 riders from 24 nations braved the long trek to the Scottish Highlands.

It wasn’t just about racing; it was about ticking Scotland off the bucket list.

After more than 10 years since the series last stopped in Scotland, the excitement was palpable — even if you had to fight your way through the wind and rain just to get there.

Seeding Results: Elite Men

Charlie Hatton (Continental Atherton) arrived with one goal in mind: destroy everything.

With a run time of 4:37.846, Charlie was absolutely untouchable.

He had the fastest splits, the fastest everything, and he might as well have been riding on a hoverboard.

Then we’ve got Danny Hart (the man, the myth, the legend) who managed to keep up with Hatton’s insane pace, only 1.326 seconds behind.

Max Hartenstern (CUBE Factory Racing) was next, putting in a ride so precise that even the Germans would’ve been proud.

He finished just 4.426 seconds off the lead, and we’re pretty sure he could’ve tightened his headset mid-run and still made the podium.

Seeding Results: Elite Women

Harriet Harnden (AON Racing) came in like a force of nature, dropping a 15.509-second lead over the rest of the field.

Seriously, someone check her bike for a jet engine.

Nina Hoffmann (Santa Cruz Syndicate) didn’t make it easy, fighting her way to second, while Mikayla Parton took third.

Finals

Sunday’s signature Scottish weather: sideways rain, gusts strong enough to slap you off a bike, and a track so greasy it could’ve been sponsored by WD-40.

The jumps? More of a "spin the wheel and pray" situation thanks to the crosswinds.

The track? A World Cup classic that broke bikes, bruised egos, and made mechanics the true MVPs of the weekend.

Charlie pumped on the result.

Elite Men’s Results:

🥇 Charlie Hatton (GBR – Continental Atherton) – Belt drive, no problem. Charlie put the hammer down with a time of 4:40.440, stacking up more fours than a sketchy poker hand.
🥈 Matt Walker (GBR – Trek Factory Racing) – Local weather, local power, local second place.
🥉 Danny Hart (GBR – Norco Race Division) – Drifted into third like a man who’s part bike, part storm cloud.

Harriet charging for the win.

Elite Women’s Results:

🥇 Harriet Harnden (GBR – AON Racing) – Enduro weapon turned downhill dominator. Took the W by almost five seconds and made it look casual.
🥈 Nina Hoffmann (GER – Santa Cruz Syndicate) – Hammered down the hill, but even Nina couldn’t catch the Harnden heat.
🥉 Jessica Blewitt (NZL – Cube Factory Racing) – Straight outta New Zealand and straight onto the podium, despite the wind trying to send her back across the Atlantic.

TL;DR:

  • Fort William stayed toxic (as expected).
  • Brits flexed hard on home soil.
  • Mechanics probably aged 5 years from stress.
  • Rain gear sales? Through the roof.

Next stop: hopefully somewhere with slightly less airborne mud.

Some bikes get better with age, and the Orange 222 is like a fine wine.

It just gets cooler and cooler.

No time machine needed when there's a bike this legendary.

It still shreds like it did back in the '00s

We wanna see it! Shoot us an email at editorial@thesenditdaily.com, and maybe your ride will be the next superstar.

Two massive jumps at the bottom, both daring you to pull off something your insurance agent will definitely not approve of.

DH, AM, DJ – pick your poison, but definitely keep your wheels pointed down!
