The LAST edition of the week! Buckle up for Crankworx fire, wild rides, Aussie domination, and Schleyer’s gnarly trail. LET'S SEND IT 👇

927 words of pure stoke.
Read time: 3 min 45 seconds.

It’s Friday. You made it.

Whether you crushed trail all week or just watched one too many GoPro edits pretending your keyboard was a handlebar… we see you. And we salute you.

Big thank you to every single one of you for riding with us on screen and on dirt. The stoke is real because of this crew.

Now, close that laptop, pump those tires, and go do what you were actually built for: sending it.

Catch you Monday

Photo of the Day

Matt looping the helix like it's a casual warm-up lap.

The trick? Go fast, don’t look down, and forget Newton existed.

Just your average Friday defying physics send.

Video of the Day

Forget the bar - Ludo’s happy hour involves loam, light, and lunar vibes.

This one pours smooth and finishes with a full moon.

Cheers to two wheels and zero hangovers.

⏰ Watch time - 3 min 34 sec

Bonus: Cody’s speed is criminal, and the trail’s paying the price.

The slashes are sharp, the lines are tighter than your Sunday socks.

Turn the volume up for this one.

Reimagined Courses & Stacked Athlete Fields Announced For Crankworx Cairns

Emil Johansson is no stranger to the Crankworx Cairns Slopestyle, returning after injury to the revised course.
PC: Clint Trahan

We’re three weeks out from what’s shaping up to be the most unhinged Crankworx on the calendar.

And yes, that includes Rotorua's mud wrestling and Whistler’s downhill mosh pit.

From May 21–25, the World Tour’s unofficial “Party Edition” is storming into Cairns like a tropical fever dream.

Forecast? 100% chance of send.

New Trails, Who Dis?

Smithfield’s been dishing out trauma since the ‘90s, but now it's got a full-blown jungle makeover thanks to the lunatics at World Trail and Flux Trail.

Picture this: dudes with chainsaws carving trails through Jurassic Park while Remy Morton mutters something about “flow” and “pain.”

And then there’s Crankworx Full Tilt.

A new gladiator-format race where three riders drop in simultaneously on a course that seems to have been designed by a Red Bull-fueled velociraptor with a GoPro addiction.

“It’s big. It’s chaotic. We built it to separate the senders from the spectators. Also, we added trail crisscrosses just to see what happens.” — Remy Morton, Director of Mayhem (and clearly not supervised)

Whip Off? Whip ON.

The Official Australian Whip-Off Champs are getting a serious glow-up.

More air. More whip.

And a crowd zone so close, you might leave with dirt in your teeth and a story to tell your physio.

“Shorter hike. Louder vibes. Riders go bigger. Everyone wins.” — Remy, again.

Dual Slalom: Knee Insurance Not Included

They’ve replaced the old wallride with a BMX-style rhythm section.

S-bends. Rollers. Line choices galore. Think “supercross for people who missed their chiropractor appointment.”

Meanwhile, the Slopestyle course is getting a full facelift. RIP to the ‘Croc Tail’.

Say g’day to a new jump line that’s got more air time than a budget airline ad.

Slopestyle Showdown: The Gold Rush

Twelve of the most unhinged Slopestyle athletes are gunning for the FMBA title.

Godziek’s back from injury and hunting gold like it’s panning season.

Johansson and Fedko are rebuilt and revved.

And don’t sleep on the women.

Alma Wiggberg, Robin Goomes, Patricia Druwen—three absolute units who already won their debut Slopestyle events and are now ready to rewrite the playbook (or at least break it).

Aussie riders Caroline Buchanan and Cassie Voysey will return to Cairns to compete on home soil and collect valuable points for the World Tour Series.

Aussies Assemble

It’s a local takeover.

Jackson Frew is fresh off a Rotorua Pump Track victory.

Cassie Voysey wants more hardware.

And Mick Hannah is preparing to turn his backyard into a live-action video game.

Scoreboard

Gilchrist and Jenna Hastings are currently wearing the crowns, but Cairns has enough event chaos to flip the whole thing upside-down.

Dual Slalom, Pump Track, DH points are everywhere.

So yeah…

New tracks. Wild formats. A rider list that looks like someone hit “shuffle” on a Crankworx highlight reel.

Cairns is about to go full tilt. Literally.

Pack your sunscreen, prep your vocal cords, and maybe bring a spare derailleur.

We’ll see you in the jungle.

Trail of the Day

Schleyer - British Columbia

PC: Laurence CE

Rocks, roots, and drops that’ll have you questioning your life choices.

Bring your A-game, because this trail isn’t here to hold your hand.

That’s all for this week folks. We hope everyone gets some saddle time out there. See you all next week! 🤙
